The Carrilet way is a 39,7KM pedestrian and bicycle path running from
Sant Feliu de Guíxols to Girona, where it connects with another that
reaches the Pyrenees. It is accessed in Platja d'Aro from the bike
path on the 11 de Setembre Avenue and, following the banks of the
River Ridaura, reaches the Castell d'Aro Station, where it joins this
old railway track that has been reconverted into a bike path. The
route is sign-posted and perfectly conditioned with bridges and
handrails;
